Yamaha's New Gladiator Type SS & RS
Apart from the much hyped Yamaha R15 and FZ, Yamaha displayed new upgraded versions of Gladiator. The Gladiator Type SS (Stylish & Sporty) and Gladiator Type RS (Racing sports). The Gladiator is surely one of the best 125cc in the country and a potential to do much better, with the upgrades the Gladiator looks amazingly stylish and sporty. The new Gladiator would definitely appeal a much younger and wider audience than earlier and hopefully help increase the Yamaha's market share in the country.
The changes are all mostly cosmetic
Features of the New Gladiator Type SS & RS:-
Air Filter :- High flow paper filter
Handle Grip :- R1 Type Insert Mold Grips
Front Head Cowl :-
a-30mm lower than Gladiator
b-Aero Dynamic Design
Tachometer
Handle Bar :-
a-Semi-Flat type with bar end
b-Front Fork
c-D.U. Metal (Special Material)
Front Fender :- Aero Dynamic Design
Lower Cowling :- Aero Dynamic Design
Seat Leather :- Dimple type/two tone
Grip End :- Race bred grip end
Rear Fender :- Aerodynamic
Muffler End :- Machine Gun Type
Chain Guard :- Half cover sporty looks
Shift Pedal :- Sport toe type Aluminum Shift Pedal
Drive Chain :- Long life sealed chain
Foot Rest :- Aluminum (Rider And Passenger)
Asbestos Free :- Environment Friendly
With all these changes the Gladiator looks much more of 150+cc sporty bike. The Gladiator Type SS & RS would be available in showrooms starting this February. Price of the new Gladiator is not yet known but would be significantly more than the Gladiator and other 125ccs in the segment.
