Yamaha at Auto Expo 2008

Aimed at re-establishing and repositioning its iconic brand image in India, world’s leading bike manufacturer, Yamaha Motor India Pvt. Ltd. is all set to stamp its authority in technology and innovation with its latest offerings showcased at the 9th Auto Expo 2008


Yamaha is displayed its state-of-art product line -
The commercial launch of Gladiator Type SS and RS would be done in February, YZF–R15 in the middle of the year and FZ during Diwali festival around November. With this, Yamaha has unleashed its strategic intent to offer product line that demonstrates the global Yamaha image and lives up to the true Yamaha DNA i.e. performance, innovation and design.
Detailing vibrancy of the Indian market for Yamaha, new CEO & MD, Mr. Tsutomu Mabuchi said,
“Yamaha is taking this event as an opportunity to carry forward the global Yamaha brand image in India. We wish to re-establish ourselves as a company, which delivers high quality and high performance products. The company has already introduced super bikes YZF-R1 and MT01 in the Indian market. With these launches, Yamaha is all geared to associate Indian bike enthusiasts with the combine thrill of technological superiority and artistic brilliance.”
Thus, Yamaha would now be present across the segments and carve out a niche for its products, which will provide exceptional biking experience as ‘Man and Machine’ become one!! The company is also in the process of strengthening its dealer network and putting up exemplary Yamaha direct shops based on lifestyle concept to cater to biking aficionados.
